Dr Tracey is Medical Director of Intimate You. She is a practicing NHS and Private GP with over 15 years’ experience and has a particular passion for helping women to improve their health and wellbeing.
She has been privileged to have undertaken, by invitation, masterclass training in MonaLisa Touch vulvovaginal treatment from Professor Salvatore in Milan, Italy and in fractionated CO2 laser skin therapy from Professor Bonan in Florence, Italy.
In the UK, Dr Sims is the key opinion leader for BTL Emsella. She is committed to ongoing medical education and runs a continuing professional development programme for fellow GPs. Her interest in women’s health and wellbeing has been featured in publications such as The Times and The Daily Mail and she has spoken out about feminine health issues on Radio Merseyside and at medical conferences here in the UK and abroad, most recently at the 1st Well Woman Conference, Abu Dhabi.
She was born and bred in the Northwest and did her medical training at the University of Cambridge Medical School. After receiving her qualification in 1997, she undertook specialist paediatric training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and Great Ormond Street, London. As a member of The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (London, 2001), she widened my interests to the care of the family as a whole and ventured into General Practice closer to home, in Mersey Region. She has lived here since becoming a fully qualified GP in 2004 and works as an NHS GP on the Wirral and a private GP in Liverpool.
As a GP committed to holistic care of all patients and their families, she also has a particular interest in mental health issues and has benefited from 1 year affiliated with the Department of Psychology, Wirral University Teaching Hospital. She has practical experience in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the clinical setting.
She has extensive local knowledge and aims to deliver high quality, patient-focussed and evidence led patient care. She is commited to caring for the whole person and responding to each individual’s needs.
